Coloring Book Coming Soon!

A shooting star? A fairy light? Here's a sneak peak from my upcoming coloring book! 

One of the things I've been really interested in doing since I started this project is giving enough detail for you to feel the texture of everything. Of all the flowers I've put into this book, the roses stand out as my favorite. I really started to have fun drawing the wild rosebushes with sharp thorny looking lines. There are actually over 100 species of wild roses but they don't look like the ones in our gardens. They usually only have five petals! The ones you'll see in my coloring book are much more romanticized and I encourage you to get creative with the colors!

Welcome to Thriving Lines!

I started this blog to accompany a line of coloring books that I'm excited to be releasing very soon!
My first coloring book will feature some real places I've seen on the bike paths and hiking trails of Pennsylvania. There will also be creative flowering landscapes with an art noveau style influence. The book is designed to help you feel as if you're moving through the wilderness on an adventure of your own. This will be the first in a series of illustrated escapes.

Do you get bored coloring things the "correct colors" but still crave a beautiful finished piece? I'll be posting all sorts of color pallets to give you new coloring ideas! In addition, I'll be posting great images to get you inspired so stay tuned!
